Cora is a composer based in London. Her latest scores are THE MARLOW MURDER CLUB, a mystery comedy-drama for UKTV and PBS, currently on its second season, starring Samatha Bond, which premiered on DRAMA in March 2024, and MRS SIDHU INVESTIGATES, starring Meera Syal and Craig Parkinson, premiered on Acorn TV in September 2023.
Before focusing on film scoring, she trained as a concert pianist. She holds a BA and an MA in Composition from the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy and an MA in Film Composition from the National Film & Television School.
Across the Bridge
Cora has scored a variety of projects including fiction, documentary, animation and video games. Her score for the dark comedy-drama Lonely Laura and Her Sister Niamh was nominated for Composing at Underwire Film Festival 2019. The animated musical Meow or Never was longlisted for the BIFA Best Short British Short Film and shortlisted for the 2020 GSA BAFTA Student Film Awards, awarded Best Short Film at Women in Animation Class of 2020 and the Next Generation Award at Digicon 6 Asia. The natural history documentary The Silent Forests was awarded Special Mention at Gran Paradiso Film Festival and nominated for the Newcomers Award at the Greenscreen International Wildlife Film Festival.
